Tiger Woods comfortably won the Arnold Palmer Invitational at Bay Hill, with a five shot victory over Graeme McDowell.

Tiger carried a one shot lead over Graeme going into the final round and managed to card a final day two under 70 to take him to his first PGA Tour title since September 2009. Online betting bookmakers will be torn between being happy for the renewed interest in golf with Tiger's return to winning form, and the fact that Tiger's dominance will lead to huge payouts to punters!

Woods has moved up the world rankings into sixth place with the win. But what's more significant is that it will prove to the competition that he is well and truly back and has not lost what it takes to win under pressure. No one should under estimate the pressure with Graeme who beat Tiger at the 2010 Chevron World Challenge, and was constantly trying to catch up, getting within two shots of leader on occasions.

Tiger can now look towards the Masters with confidence and the real chance of making it 15 majors in his career. This year, we should be in for a treat, with the likes of Justin Rose, Luke Donald, Rory Mcllroy and Tiger all brimming with confidence. As usual, all the money is for Tiger to win the US Masters 2012, and there is no getting away from him being the crowd's favourite to win. SkyBet have Woods 7/2 to win the Masters, with the only player close to him being Rory Mcllory at 9/2.
