With the first leg of Champions League quarter final between Paris St Germain and Barcelona finishing in a 2-2 draw, David Beckham’s team still deserves a few free bets on them being able to overcome Lionel Messi’s Barca team, as we never can tell what can happen in a game of football, even at Camp Nou.

The French team would have been disappointed if they lost, as the score was 1-1 up until a Xavi penalty in the 89th minute. Matuidi then equalized in the dying seconds of the match, to the delight of the home supporters.

PSG supporters will take comfort in the fact that Barcelona looked unconvincing in defense and with all their possession never really got close to Paris St Germain’s goal, with Iniesta and Sanchez shooting long range shots. But as usual Lionel Messi scored to put Barca in front, and from there it would have been no surprise for them to go on to win. However, Ibrahimovic came back to haunt them, as he scored in the 79th minute to bring the French side level. Xavi’s penalty should have been the winner, but PSG managed to get the draw with that winning spirit which they are becoming famous for.

Paris St Germain players will be expecting to give Barcelona a run for their money in the return leg, as Messi is currently out with a hamstring injury and Mascherano suffered an injury in the second half of the game. Paddypower has Barcelona priced up as 1/3 favourites, but PSG being 8/1 to win the match (in 90 minutes) should be tempting for anyone with a free bet!
