Casino Games Preferable to Being In a Twist

How was everyone’s Christmas? Was it full of eggnog, mistletoe and lots of casino games?

After the huge meal is consumed, and the present are exchanged, you’ve pretty much got two choices: fall asleep from the carb content in the sixteen-course meal you just ate or amuse yourself in whatever way doesn’t involve too much activity or mental strain. This year we indulged in some Twister, and as a giant foot crashed down onto my hand I couldn’t help but think that perhaps some casino games would have been a better idea.

If we’d hopped online and taken advantage of some casino spins perhaps I wouldn’t be typing one-handed, or had the intensely traumatising experience of seeing Aunt Ethel’s drawers as she bent over the red circle. If we’d only quietly slipped away and hopped onto Lucky Nugget Casino, perhaps I might have won millions instead of contorting myself into uncomfortable positions and possibly having to pay for physio on my neck (plus therapy after seeing Aunt Ethel).

Plus, we were all so full that casino spins on a slot machine would have been an excellent, quiet way to pass the time into the evening. Sure, we could have watched a movie, but why do that when you can win cash instead of maiming someone?

Next year I’m going to be in charge of the post-meal activities. We all know what I’ll be choosing!
