To play this card game you need to make three subsequent bets. These will fill up three piles on the table marked 1 2 and 3. You may also make a side bet which will pay you out separately should your cards rank two pair or above. (On the right is a view of an average Let Them Ride Poker Table)
You will now be dealt three cards face up to you and two community cards will be placed in front of them face down - this counts as your first bet - Taken from Position 1. The aim is to get a pair of 10's or Better with these five cards available to you and you will bet accordingly. If the three cards you have are good - you will Bet - which means that you will use the funds you have placed in Position 2. If you do not like the cards - you will Fold this Bet and the money placed in Position 2 will return to your purse. You now have 4 cards on show and are waiting for the 5th card. Just as before - you can now choose to Bet or Fold depending on the cards and accordingly the money in Position 3 will be used or returned to your purse. Having Bet/Folded for all 3 Positions - you will now see the 5th Card and this will determine whether you have Won or Lost. So - if you have Three of a Kind - the Payout would be 3:1 - this means that if you had folded Positions 2 and 3 - having bet £1 in each Position - only the Bet in Position 1 will count and you will get £4 back from your £1 Bet. If you folded Position 2 but Bet again on Position 3 - with the £1 in Position 1 and the £1 in Position 3 - you have bet £2 and will get £8 back. If you have played all three Positions you will have bet £3 and will get £12 back.
Of course depending on the outcome - you may have lost and therefore lost either £1, £2 or £3 depending on if you folded any of the Position Bets. The payout values are listed below...
