Big Gains No Pains Guides - How to play Keno
A more 'arcade' form of Bingo - Keno involves a machine with lots of numbers and requires the player to pick their favourite numbers then sit back and see how many come up. Most Keno games will offer the player a chance to pick between 1 and 15 numbers of their choice and the more that are matched when the computer spits them out like a Bingo Machine - the higher payout the player receives. Obviously if a player picks just 1 number and matches it - the payout will not be as high as if a player picks 15 numbers and matches all 15.
Here is an example of a graphics based Keno game - styled as a Fortune Teller.
As you can see - you may pick as few or as many numbers as you want...
Here only four balls have been selected - and the payouts range from 0 to 12x the Bet placed.
Should the player opt to go for the maximum 15 balls - it requires 5 matches to make your money back - but should you get all 15 matches - on a 2 Coin Bet they will walk away with 20,000 Coins!
Of course not everyone will be so lucky - check out our picture below where the player only matched 2 numbers - thereby not even earning the player half of his Bet back.
Although not everyone loses and all it takes is one lucky game and you could be right back with your money. If the player matched 7 balls as below - then at 5x the Bet - even if the player had lost the last 3 hands with only 2 balls (a rarity), then they would be in profit having spent 8 Coins and now won 10 Coins.
This is just one type of Keno machine - there are others which automatically choose your numbers for you and you get the opportunity to 'Change Card' - (see right).
In these scenarios - the game style is the same and the payouts are just as lucrative with the top winners getting 10,000x their original Bet back.
